About Me

Hey there. My name is Callie Mercer and I am a working from home mother of two. I am a coffee addict, an amateur baker and an avid reader.

Though I love photography, I have got nothing to show as proof of my love except for some poorly timed photographs of my two little monsters.

I strongly believe in helping out people and go out of my way to make a difference in the lives of those around me. I feel that the fast-paced world around us has managed to complicate our life quite unnecessarily.

I mean to say how many times do we stop and take a deep breath and have a closer look at the world around us? Who has got the time to do that, right?

But I fail to understand that in chasing the next big thing in our life (be it a promotion or buying a new car) we have stopped looking around and enjoy the simplest pleasures of life.

Here I want to help people to make life simple again in small as well as big ways. I want to help others to organize their lives so that life’s simplest pleasures don’t get lost in our fast-moving world.

It can be as simple as getting 15 extra minutes to spend with your kids to as big as managing your finances wisely to ease some of the worries about the future.

This blog is dedicated to all those who are struggling to climb the ladder of financial success, those who want to spend time with their family but are simply not able to do so and those who want an organized life around them but don’t have the time and energy to devote.

But don’t worry. Even if you are working and have a family to look after, you can still take charge of your life and make it simple and uncomplicated again.

I will be giving you small tips, hacks and proven steps to improve your life, organize your home, enhance your happiness and contentment.

My goal is to make the lives of my readers better than it is now.

I would love to know about you, your journey and your struggles. I would also love to hear any tips you have to improve An Iridescent Life.

So send your love to me in the comments section.

Together, we will make life uncomplicated again.
